Space Layout
-
As soon as you walk into Bat Haus, you enter a bright, open main room with high ceilings, string lights, and paper lanterns overhead.
On the right near the entrance, a wooden bar unit anchors the space. It works well for a welcome drink station, check-in table, or styled welcome sign. Next to it, two to three 6 x 2 foot tables are typically placed for food, catering, dessert displays, or gift tables.
On the left side, coat racks are available during colder months. In warmer seasons, this area can be cleared for additional standing room, a photo backdrop, or decorative installation.
All tables are on wheels, making it easy to adjust the layout for buffet lines, long dining setups, or open space for dancing and mingling.
-
Right next to the bar unit is the dedicated food area, where guests naturally gather after grabbing a drink.
Three 6 x 2 foot wooden tables line the wall to create a continuous buffet surface. If you need more space, two 6 x 4 foot folding tables are available for desserts, catering trays, or a separate beverage station.
The layout supports smooth self-serve flow with plenty of room for grazing boards, hot dishes, salads, and desserts. It is flexible and easy to expand based on your event size.
-
After you pass the food area, you enter the main room where the seating lines both sides with a clear center aisle.
Five 8 x 2 foot wooden tables are arranged in parallel rows, comfortably seating 40 to 50 guests in a long banquet style that encourages conversation while keeping the space open.
The large window wall at the back is a natural focal point for a wedding arch, ceremony setup, or balloon backdrop. You can also use the shorter side wall or corner for a styled photo moment without changing the seating layout.
-
Toward the back of the space, you can step outside into our rare private backyard. It extends your event outdoors, perfect for cocktail hour, wedding portraits, or guests who want fresh air and relaxed conversation. The indoor to outdoor flow adds flexibility, especially for spring and summer gatherings.
Downstairs, you’ll find both the kitchenette and a private room. The kitchenette provides counter space for catering prep, plating, and beverage setup, along with a sink and refrigeration access to keep service organized and out of sight. The private area downstairs can be used as a bridal suite, getting ready room, quiet retreat, or staging space. It gives you separation from the main room while keeping everything under one roof.
