How many guests can Bat Haus comfortably host for a wedding?

Bat Haus is best suited for intimate weddings and micro-weddings, comfortably accommodating up to about 45–50 guests — ideal for ceremonies, receptions, and celebration tables with your closest family and friends

Can we have both the ceremony and reception at Bat Haus?

Yes — our open, flexible layout allows you to design the flow you want, whether that’s a ceremony followed by dinner, a cocktail reception, or a combination celebration all in one place.

Do you allow outside vendors?

Absolutely — you’re welcome to bring your own caterer, florist, photographer, planner, or musicians. We provide vendor coordination support to help ensure smooth timing and logistics on the day.

Is alcohol allowed at weddings?

Yes, you may bring your own alcohol for your event. If you’re hiring professional bartenders or servers, they should be properly insured and, in some cases, provide a Certificate of Insurance (COI) depending on the event type.

Can we bring our own decorations?

Yes — you’re welcome to personalize the space with flowers, décor, lighting, signage, or furniture that fits your vision. Our natural wood tables, string lights, and warm ambiance also provide a beautiful backdrop if you prefer minimal styling

Can we tour the space before booking?

Yes — tours are available and highly recommended, so you can feel the light, flow, and layout in person before reserving your date. Contact us to schedule a tour!

What about sound and music?

Bat Haus is great for playlists and small acoustic or low-amplification music. DJs and external PA systems are generally not permitted — instead, you can use our in-house Bluetooth speaker for balanced sound and minimal setup hassle.

Do you have a backyard or outdoor space option?

Yes — the venue includes access to a private backyard, perfect for ceremony space, cocktail hour, or golden-hour photos.

Can we rent additional hours if we need more time?

Yes, additional hours are available at $250 per hour.

What does a small wedding at Bat Haus look like?

A small wedding at Bat Haus is 20 to 60 guests seated at five long wooden tables, in one sunlit room with a private backyard at the back. You bring your own food, drinks and cake, we set the tables and chairs before you arrive, and the ceremony and the dinner happen in the same space. Is there a bridal suite to get ready in?

Yes — the downstairs changing room serves as a private bridal suite for getting ready and storing gifts. Dedicated use is included with Styled + Suite; changing-room access comes with every rental.

Is there a kitchen for catering?

Yes — a kitchenette with a refrigerator and microwave is available for your caterer to stage and plate.

Can we have a Nikah, chuppah, or cultural ceremony?

Yes — Bat Haus welcomes all traditions and identities, and the flexible layout and BYO food policy make it easy to honor your customs.

Can we have a pop-up wedding at Bat Haus?

Yes. Our 5-hour rental is a natural fit for a pop-up wedding: hold a short ceremony in the backyard, celebrate inside, and you're done by curfew, with setup and cleanup handled for you. Weekday and Sunday daytime slots keep it especially affordable.
