Some weekends at Bat Haus feel like any other busy Saturday and Sunday. This past one turned out to be a little bit magical.

On Saturday, we hosted a baby shower for dad-to-be Nathan. On Sunday, we hosted a completely separate baby shower for mom-to-be Jenna. Two different families, two different celebrations, and yet the same lovely couple, Beryl and Wan, walked through our door both days.

Wan and Nathan went to high school together. Beryl met Jenna years ago through work. Neither shower had anything to do with the other, but both led back to the same two people and the same little space on Grand Street. After 14 years of hosting in Williamsburg, this was a first for us, and such a sweet one.

How many guests can a Bat Haus baby shower hold?
